5th Grade

Welcome to Mrs. White's Fifth Grade Class!

My name is Michelle White and this will be my 15th year teaching at Monrovia Elementary School. I taught 1st grade for three years before moving to 5th grade. I  have my bachelors degree in elementary education from Athens State, my masters degree from UNA, and my educational specialist degree for the University of Alabama. I'm originally from Knoxville, Tennessee and I'm a huge VOLS fan. I have been married to my husband, Chris White, for 17 years.

I enjoy reading, dance, technology, and photography. My favorite books are mystery, paranormal, and horror books. I love teaching using hands on activities and interactive notebooks. We will be using a lot of technology this year. I am the Technology Integration Mentor for Monrovia Elementary School. I enjoy using technology everyday in class and sharing about technology with other teachers. I am looking forward to starting a new school year with you.
