Mrs. Kristi Long, Assistant Principal

Welcome to Monrovia Elementary! This will be my seventh year at MES, and I have enjoyed working with the staff, students, and the community. I am starting my 21st year in education. This is my ninth year in Madison County. It is great to be a part of this great school system.

I am married to Darrell Long. We have three boys. Logan is a senior at Hazel Green High School. Webber is a freshman at Hazel Green High School, and Hopkins is in the seventh grade at Meridianville Middle School.

My family has two pets, Cody and Rosie. Cody is a Shih tzu, and Rosie is a Morkie. They keep us on our toes.

My husband, boys, and I are avid sports fans. My boys play football and basketball for their school teams. Being a graduate from the University of Alabama, I proudly yell “Roll Tide!”

I am excited for this school year!  Please let me know if I can be of any assistance.
